Really. This work really develops topics that have been forgotten in many popular gender bender works, but https://www.otaquest.com/review-ayakashi-triangle/ describes it in such an over-the-top way, as if we are not fully aware its ironic fake yuri manga, but strong LGBTQ work like "My brother's husband".

I especially remember the moment where they describe Suzu's thinking about her feelings as seriously as possible, when in fact she fully accepted her attraction to the female Matsuri at the beginning of the first volume. Now I really want to see similar reviews on Nande Koko ni Sensei ga !? or H-Eros, which takes the topic of sexual suppression or teenage sexuality with equal seriousness.

Ranma 1/2 did the gender bender thing first so it might’ve inspired the creation of ayakashi triangle

But overall would you call this a good series though? or just another ecchi fighting show that got traction from horny readers?

Overall, this is a good manga. But at some point it turns into a plotless SoL that abuses premise.

I'm now at volume 3 and really loving it so far. Feels less ecchi than To-love-ru so far (but that might change as we progress further), which is my biggest complaint so far. Other than that, its premise and story have been so much more engaging to me as well as its characters. Rito was always fine and at least he wasn't annoying like so many Harem protags but Matsuri is actually pretty cool so far. Looking forward to how the series develops. First volumes are already ordered and pre-ordered. ^^
