Bad animation

I just watched the teaser trailer of the movie and it seems really bad animated. Like, the waves looks actually static, the caracter design is *really* simple (besides Masaki Hinaoka's design) and CGI end by focusing only on the character movent instead of the waves, landscape, or even characters's facial expression. The Studio responsible for the movie is also producing two 1 cour animes, and one of them will even air in this season. My expectations are not high for this show. Lemme know yours

yeah, the animation is rough. after watching the first episode I noticed how jarring the cgi was. the 2d animation was fine but very fluid or dynamic. it’s a bit disappointing.

Agree agree. Couldn’t even get through the first episode because the CGI is so bad. It looks like a video game.

They also kept using those cheap layered freeze-frames to seem like things were moving when really it just looked lazy.

Yeah, it SUCKS. It's animated like a video game. They could've done a better job.
