Anyone else find it weird that the mc is voiced by a girl?

Obviously they can't hire actual kids lol, but I never thought I was listening to a girl when the character was a guy before.

I know there's been some male characters voiced by female voice actresses, but how often is this the case?

Yeah, it's very common, especially in hentai and eroge where the range for that kind of shit just isn't going to be found elsewhere lmao. A lot of female seiyuus have the perfect range for all these shota characters. The voice doesn't really require a hint of masculinity to be convincing. Some have a range that goes deep enough to covincingly pull off even late adolescence or just adulthood, Naruto's seiyuu being a classic example lol.

Yeah I've realized that if there's a young male character, there's a good chance it's a girl voicing him
