I like the magic system in theory but its horrible

Am I the only one that was getting annoyed with someone stopping mid fight to write a 200+ character spell in the middle of combat? That's my only gripe about this entire show. I liked the characters, the art, the music and story for the most part but damn that magic system takes me right out of the world. Ya the guys going to stand there while you write half a book at him.

That's what I liked about Mahouka Koukou, in reality magic in terms of combat usability relies on speed.
This is made abundantly clear and prioritized in the Mahouka verse, having CADs to accelerate magic and fine tuning their spells to further their desire for speed and efficiency.
Or you could just finger a shitload of characters and hope the opponent doesn't wake up.
