Im at episode 4 so far and i find this series quite boring with unlikeable characters (the only interesting one was the knight from another world) and the pacing seems quite slow. I've read some comments here that the manga is better so could those that read the manga let me know your views of the anime so far and how different it is from the manga?

I'll continue watching the anime as I want to see how it'd proceed after each quest. I hope to keep this spoiler free too tho im fine if the spoilers are boxed up or if the spoilers are minor where it doesn't bring a lot/any of shock factor.

The anime added some scenes to fill in some of the character plot points, I can't gurantee you that the manga will entertain you since you need to pay attention a lot of the time but it's definitely better than this wacky animation.

The anime is shit. The manga doesn't start off strong and the anime is only making it worse. I'd say drop the anime and give the manga 13 chapters and see if it's your thing.

go read the manga up to the end of 2nd arc or 2-3 chapters of 3rd arc at least, it wouldn't be that long. If you like it, I recommend to also watch the anime. Yes, the animation is bad and the pacing kinda off, they also cut a few stuff from the manga, but they also added some extra scene and the music is quite good imo, and ofc read the rest because it's still on going, and from what I've seen the story and worldbuilding is just keep getting interesting

Totally, the anime will only adapt the first arc, wich is, at best, mediocre, but the 2nd arc is way better and the third is just totally amazing
