| I get where ur coming from a little, but I think she's a good balance for Norman and Ray cause they're both too intense (if that even makes sense lol). Yes, she's naive but they're all still little kids so I do think the other kids need that little hope that she provides. |

| Nah, Emma's great. Since this is an anime forum, just considering season 1 alone, Emma was definitely in that high tier of likable Jump characters for me. I even prefer her over Ray and Norman. |
| I honestly don’t really care much for her. Sure, at least she ain’t zero-Dimensional or anything, but she’s pretty much a one-trick pony to me, though that comes from having experienced similar run-of-the-mill characterization. Too bad for me that she doesn’t have any particularly likable characteristics besides some corny comedy moments. Ray and Norman are far more interesting in comparison, not just counting season 1. |

| hell i've been having to defend her ever since that shithole of a season 2 came out No. Emma doesn't deserve hate. She's trying her best to protect everyone in the safest way possible. She doesn't want bloodshed and her family is the most important thing in the world to her. She would do anything for them. She's the one always keeping everyone in high spirits and giving everyone hope. She's incredibly precious, caring, strong and smart. She's acting smarter and with better intent than the average adult would, but we already know that. But you think she's ''annoying'' for trying to keep bloodshed from happening? For trying to prevent literal murder? And that's why you ''hate'' her? Even though this kid has gone through so much and never wavered in what she stood for? You are a miserable piece of shit, for you can not perceive the absolute godess that she is. She's a precious little angel keeping everyone from harm and you ''hate'' her? Disgusting. |

| Definitely no. She is a believable 12 years old MC and better than many typical shounen protagonists imo. Not every character has to be super unique and over the top. Sometimes a more grounded character fits way better imo. |
