| It seems to me that when you get to level ten, your class changes and your level resets, but you keep all the skills and abilities already in your repertoire. So the main point of levelling is to get new skills from new classes. |

| It seems that he retains some stats from leveling that class as well. You get to lv10 and then return to 1 but only 20% of gained stats are added to base value for new class. What happened with lower stats is probably stats of his new class increased by 20% of what he had before are lower than what he had at level 10. It's interesting system of leveling making you stronger but slowly with real power coming from different abilities you unlock and some power you retain. Somehow reminds me of the game Hades where you start new run with base stats but across the runs you slowly unlock different bonuses, keepsakes that give you certain powers and you also lern how to use what you have and what works well with what. |
