| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I love it when a manga uses a full page drawing and effectively splits it into panels and dialogue to hone in on a character's feelings. Back when Satoko was helping Nao choose a present, she noted how she was the opposite of her, noting the traits she lacked. Like how Nao was straightforward with her feelings and was able to say them out loud whereas Satoko would bury them deep down. Now it's Nao who sees they're opposites not only in appearance but in personality. And naturally, it makes her envious and emotional, causing her to lash out at Satoko. Satoko does her best to comfort her despite her own conflicting feelings. Nao's dealing with heartbreak but through this, her perspective's grown beyond things that are simply "black" or "white". Satoko and Mashuu's relationship is a unique friendship, one you don't see everyday. It's something that's between them. Something they need to work out. |

| This "neither black nor white" spiel feel like an excuse to stand for nothing. Yes, things in life are complicated and don't always fit neatly into arbitrary labels. But Nao is right, being vague about everything should not be an end goal of any kind of relationship. |
