THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER.
----------------------------------------
Surprised that no one ever made a discussion for this considering it was published by Viz at one point, but I guess that's what happens when people value scanlation groups over official publishers... Also that outside of the particular issues of online English Jump this isn't officially available unless you know Japanese.

Anyways, we're looking at a mystery series so I figured I'd lay out what's known so far.
- Ryota's manga contains a symbol referencing the "Halloween Incident" in which three years prior a girl was murdered.
- That symbol was drawn by Katsuo Baba, who was arrested as the culprit of the Halloween incident and is currently imprisoned. It's established in the beginning of the series that there's a system for inmates to work on manga backgrounds as a form of "rehabilitation".
- Popular mangaka Seiya Himekawa seems to recognize the symbol drawn in Ryota's manga and seems to be preparing for some kind of action after ending his live stream. Soon after we see that Ryota has lost his local copy of his manuscript from his computer and is faced with a weird pincushion-like doll.

Ryota is able to surmise that Katsuo was actually framed for the incident by intepreting a snow drop included at the end of the chapter as a symbol of hope and also realizing that Katsuo can't talk. So far in terms of prime suspects Himekawa is at the top of the list, though there's room for actual culprit to be a character who has yet to be introduced; at the very least, Himekawa is likely involved in a non-trivial capacity.

I think it's pretty cool that this manga looks nothing like Yu-Gi-Oh, and I'm interested in seing where this short series will go in unveiling the mystery.
