Why the netflix version is longer than the BD version?

Each episode of Netflix version is about 30 min so if you do math here you will get 1 hour 30 min while the bluray ver doesnt split into episode and only 1 hour 7 min.

How do we know that the netflix ver isnt the ONA ver of this movie? Just like the chain chronicle's case where the tv ver is just the movies that have been split into episodes

This made me curious; so I checked(also, the plot was confusing, and TVTropes gave a slighly better explanation that I'm curious how they came across)

The 3-eps series is indeed 30 minutes avg each. But, they come with an OP and ED, roughly 2 minutes each, based on the original series. Minus the final ED(which is unique to the movie itself), that's an additional 10 minutes. I havent even included the fact that Netflix version felt the need to credit every the voices for every language available each episode, so there's extra padding as well.

Eps 1 started of with a...partial recap of the series ending(?), and the OP only began at least 5 minutes in. (the recap at least helped to remind and emphasis on the significance of the stone that Mumei was working on and gave to Ikoma at the end. This scene should've been in the BD version imo.)

Eps 3 of the series also started with a recap of the last 2 or so minutes of previous episode.

Basically, the listed duration of MAL is junk and you can minus of a padding of about 17 minutes for it which brings us to, what do you know, around 1 hour and 10 minutes give or take a couple of minutes.
