| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I feel like Natsume made a reference to Gegege no Kitarou's OP song when she said that youkai don't have to worry about school or exams. xD And a competition to decide who is the senpai between Micchi and Komajirou, huh. I like Komajirou, but I don't like how he constantly targets Micchi's eye. It's not even a funny gag, it's as bad as Koma-san marking his territory. Anyways, Micchi is definitely the senpai here, his Natsume Cosplay was quite... Something all right, but he even protected Komajirou from that attack and was acknowledged by him in the end. Even though he still isn't respected. I also like how Jiitan ended up helping him with Whisper instead of helping Komajirou. xD I just wonder why he became Keisuke to hear those boys out with a limited vocabulary and expressionless face, instead of changing to his human form from the start since he used it to ride Chari and all later on. And Nitanita-san was kind of creepy, but Anzen-bouya was just another victim of Soranaki too. Oh, and Whisper and Micchi were right to be wary of Fudou Myouou Boy getting involved. xD He really has his own pace, but I like how he enjoyed the snacks that Jiitan, his "Chocobo-senpai", shared with him, and how he ended the battle that was giving a bit of trouble to the others. He somehow seems to be stronger than his adult form that Touma turns into, maybe the Youkai Watch Ogre can only borrow a part of his power... Welp, nice episode focused on the youkai! |
