I watched the first three episodes and decided that watching weekly wasn't going to work here, and I'd rather binge it at the end, so I dropped it. Then I found out that the series is an adaptation of four separate novels, and the three episodes I watched covered the entire first novel. Honestly, I felt like the first story arc was a bit weak, and now I'm wondering if it was because they rushed through the novel. Does this series do a better job adapting the later novels, or will it feel just as rushed as the first part?

They rushed it and left out half of the characters and chapters of the first novel (which they adapted in 3 episodes).
Not a good adaption at all.
