| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The intro art is always cool and/or interesting, but this time the one with Ayame's two faces was simply beautiful. I like how Natsume, Touma and Keisuke gave Akinori and Ayame space to spend some time together like they did when they went to the beach. Ayame really seems to enjoy her time with Akinori as well. And it's funny that Touma is so dense that he hadn't realized Akinori's feelings for her. xD Haruya somehow really found the legendary man Ayame's inner demon, Jorougumo, needed by the way. I was kind of disappointed that it was just his skull since he has been long dead, but we saw how he was while he was alive and I guess that's something. Then Jorougumo finally acknowledged that she isn't the Princess that Haruya has been looking for, that she has been just using him. And she is really strong too, I mean, I know he was still dealing with the fact that she wasn't who he thought she was, but Jorougumo managed to capture and steal the power of both Shutendouji and Douketsu by herself. Touma and Natsume couldn't do anything either. Oh, and Douketsu gave away his disguise, and they could also see that Haruya isn't just a human, but he didn't get to show his true self yet. Douketsu also guided Akinori, Natsume, Keisuke and Touma to the next Youseiken since it can possibly defeat Jorougumo. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" after all. It wasn't like he was doing them a selfless favor either. And I'm glad that Ayame is human in the end. She is a descendant of the one who sealed Jorougumo in the past and that's why she was possessed by her. And I guess that's also why she was able to use Akinori's Youjutsu. She most certainly has a big spiritual power regardless of having Jorougumo inside of her or not. Here's hoping that they can save Ayame. |
