| THIS IS A NOVEL ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS VOLUME. ---------------------------------------- I would say that conspiracies and concocting propaganda are one of the strongest point of this series, it's always fun how seeing this draft of political/personal movement of those in the authority. They always make a good outline how to mess Tatsuya's life. In line with it, I always thought Saeki would be an ally till the end, but for some reason, all her restraint to chained down the nuclears have gone loose. But it sure is something to look forward how Tatsuya will deal with this Strategic Class restriction plan of her and the UN. And btw, Rei falling in love with Masaki was quite obvious during the last volume but it was funny to see how she turned more of a Nadeshiko type to pursue this romance. Looking on the bright side, there was at least a beaconing light for the future of magicians or should we call them magians now, anyway, the Doctor's vision of how the international association should protect their own civil rights was a really good discussion. And assuming that this blueprint is still in the preliminary stage, then there's a good chance this series would still continue even after they all graduated high school. That's cool if it is the case. But well, graduation is still very far as it is still July in the storyline and there's a lot of looming enemies that are now much more knowledgeable to Tatsuya's high level threat not just for his Material Burst. It's getting more complicated that he now have to deal with both internal and external pressures in a global scale. Unless Maya finally start to join the fray in counqering the world Also, I don't know how to express my thoughts with the result of Minoru and Minami's endgame. I can't choose if it's just the lack of conclusion or anticlimactic is the problem. But still, Minami came back and that's a progress I guess. And Minoru is back in the dark again so he could possibly prepare a different approach....again. As for the rescue mission, nothing really unexpected happened but still was a good scene of Onii-sama doing some Onii-sama thing. |

| Maya is one hell of a devil, coming up with that plan to fool everyone and Miyuki is a good actress though she was distressed in seeing the fake bloodied body of her Onii-sama. Asha Chandrasekhar visit to Japan was a bit of a surprise because she is a valued person, visiting a foreign country is a bit of a risk. Well, anyway, she's at least thinking about the good of magicians around the world, and Tatsuya's help will be needed. Tatsuya being Tatsuya, wrecked the USNA, it's a huge empressement for them to be taken down by a single magician. Minoru massacred the troops in the base so I wonder where he will go now since he will be wanted in by both the USNA and Japan. |
