So they got a case to find a missing boyfriend and an earring.

It feels kinda repetitive but the main characters are on the case as usual. At this point, I think Richard's understanding of jewelry surpasses anyone else in the show. No wonder they're getting clients.

Richard moving his feet like that was so cute. His moe side finally made an appearance. And we learned some things about his past. It was a pretty fun episode. I laughed out loud at “bad for you”

Best episode so far.
I was laughing throughout the whole thing. I'm saying that in a good way of course, the episode was hilarious especially in the part where they went to the store.
The scene in the beginning was super cute and the scene in the end really interesting because I didn't quite expect it to happen.
Let's hope the show continues to happily surprise us like that.

I don't get the point why Richard was lying to sold more expensive gem for a price of less expensive gem. Maybe because the more expensive gem doesn't sell well?

Oh so, Richard was once a con man himself before turning legit.

I love that Seigi made Richard a pudding. And I love how he reacted. He didn't let it show much on his face, despite saying that it was excellent, but his body, or better said, his feet, were honest. xD Now, this episode didn't feel as self-contained as the previous ones and I didn't like it as much. But we are finally getting to know Richard as a person/character better. So far, he has pretty much tried and helped everyone he could, like Seigi, even if with a different, usually more effective approach. But to think that he used to scam people using a fake name... No wonder this case affected him. I would like to believe that he had his reasons, as he most certainly did, but I'm sure we are going to get there eventually. And it seems that his good looks really weren't exactly a blessing either.

A girl's boyfriend is missing, and she feels the need to go to a jewellery shop and not the police or some detectives?

Is it normal for people to go and cry in jewellery shops and have them solve random mysteries? It was okay in the first three episodes, but now it's getting weird.

I love BL, but I absolutely hate it when animes make it look like there will be BL when there won't. And this anime follows a BL plot structure quite faithfully. This episode, we even got the classic girl-notices-how-much-the-guy-talks-about-the-other-guy-and-comments-how-much-he-likes-that-other-guy.

I don't hate this anime. I am just annoyed by some of the things they do. I wish they'd focus more on the characters and the jewels instead of the over-used plot structure.

Last week's WonFes revealed an upcoming Nendoroid Doll for Richard. I must say, I'm surprised that we're even getting something, and the prototype is already painted?! GSC has such fast game.

On to this week: Richard's tappy toes when he tasted the pudding is so cute, ugh. And his past... What strikes me is the fact that he sold them something MORE expensive as cheap, rather than the other way round. What was past!Richard's endgoal?

Edit: I had to gif Richard and his happy toe tapping, it was too moe.

Gurl, why didn't you go to the police first? Jeweler? Really? Are they all-rounder now?

And btw, seeing Richard with that messy hair on the bed makes me wanna fuck him.

Oh, Richard moving his legs with joy like a child XD but then he asked another desert.

Wow, I am really surprised to learn this new information about Richard. I would never except that. Wonder if it will be mentioned again...?

Okay so Richard was a scam artist before coming to Japan. Would probably be more interesting if we focused a bit more on that.

So every episode, Seigi gets the request from a friend (or some unknown enters the shop), plus a different gemstone about a different episodic story, all as usual and repetitive (late analysis I know).

This week, covering Seigi's friend's sham con artist of a boyfriend and the gemstone in particular, a turquoise. Rather than approaching the police in this case, the gemstone is indicative of Richard's help of expertise.

Even Tanimoto mistakes Seigi's interest of Richard for love, but BL is something that must be taken to caution.

About the only thing of interest is Richard's past. Going as far as to disguise and taking Shakespeare's plays into context for a raid sure is interesting enough, but having experience in his younger days? That's something.

Genuinely loved this episode, felt like 5 mins instead of 24.

Ok what's with this show and having romances that are always shitty?

First it was the lesbian, then it was the boyfriend who dumped the girl "for not being pretty enough" and now it's the boyfriend who's scamming the girlfriend lol

Like literally half of this show has been the women coming in and ranting a bit while the dude turns out to be an a-hole (not as much with the first case) lmao

But other than that the part with the disguises was kinda funny

So now we get a bit more backstory to Richard and more mysteries to solve.

I'm also glad Seigi has started to drop his "hero of Justice" moniker. He's also coming to accept Richard in his abilities.

What I really want to know now is whether or not this series is playing up the BL elements or if those are just there because of commonplace conversation. I'd need to read the novel to make sure, but I can't find it anywhere.

Nice to see some of Richard's dark past there at the end

When Saul entered the room I really expected him to be some evil dude, looks can be deceiving I guess...

This is the first episode I didn't really like. I feel like in the other episodes, we really got sense of the client and a bit about who they are in relation to the gemstone. This just felt a bit generic and stupid. That gemstone aura-sensing plan was dumb. Although Richard doing that little tip-tap with his feet when he was happy was adorable.

Seigi is such a tactless plonker. The way he says things, I'm surprised that girl didn't slap him. Also, dude - just put the tissue box on the table and she can pick one up if she needs one. Stop thrusting them at her like your some "hero of justice", he really annoyed me this episode.
