I forgot argos the dog was in this story. He's one of the only one's that has a good reason to still be on the island he got separated and is a dog. He doesn't know what's happening around him.

With the rest of the cast you got the people who see gorg as god's messenger and see running as a betraying of there faith. The nutty scientist Tom Wave been hunting this island for years he doesn't want to see it wipe out. The main character doesn't want aliens to take over the Earth. Over a miss understanding and seemingly noble doesn't want a hole race to become extent and the Captain and Doris don't want the people they grown close to being left imposable odds by them self.

But everyone else isn't giving a reason to stay. Rod Lynx and the Army General gut who name I forget with all there staff that we saw. Why in the world would stick around. This isn't there home, surly they can find other jobs if that's the problem. They give no reason for them to be attached to this island. It would be another story if they couldn't leave. Such as the world Governments shooting any plane and boat that try to leave to cover it up but no. That would be smart.
