| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Long time Berserk fan here, heard recently of this new manga by Miura and decided to binge read it yesterday, what a pleasant surprise it was. The artwork is fantastic, feels like late Berserk, the world building phenomenal and promotes the story through their backgrounds with impeccable world-building. I used to read about Greek mythology in my younger days and i believe that the MC might be Hermaphroditus, the son of Hermes and Aphrodite, the way he is physically drawn matches the description of the myth. The other characters feels completely inspired on Berserk characters, we can see a lot of similarities especially in the co-protagonist that resembles a younger guts. I'm really looking forward to the development of this manga, this is a quality start of a story. Can't believe this is treated as a training grounds for the assistants of Miura. For the Berserk fans that are hating on this because of the idea that it will slow down the Berserk chapter releases i suggest you to give it a try. This feels right as home. |
| This was a chill chapter. It was giving us more on the main character. It starts off slow but I know its going to get bloody. She is a prodigy and like all prodigy that does not come with some life challenges. The art is just like berserk and I hope that she faces one of the gods soon.  |
| Yup, it's been a very nice read so far, I love how natural and adventurous everything is. Also, the relationship between those two is start to get more and more stronger as they so innocently get to know each other. So charming haha |

| It's interesting that the tone of the way Usum's story started and is going so far is pretty much the opposite of Guts' tragic beginnings. It's like comparing day and night but I really like how both approaches are being executed~ It's quite a surprise to find out that Kirta's a prince and I wonder if there's a deeper reason as to why their village is hidden deep in the mountains. Usum not being able to contain her excitement over seeing all these new things and experiencing different experiences was simply heartwarming. I really hope that their friendship will continue to deepen later on. |

I believe that if you were to reread the first chapter, they already tell us that Usumgallu is NOT Hermaphroditus. |

| Another wholesome chapter. I'm glad that nothing bad happened and Usum's trip to the village was very positive. There was even a feast! I hope it will stay like this in the next chapters. Kirta's mom is really beautiful. |
