So the first episode to me is just another isekai-ish with overpowered MC, will it stay that way throughout the series?

if no, i am expecting something at least a plot that make MC lose everything or something.

Ray's first ability isn't actually that OP .
It's basically a counter move that returns 2x the damage he's taken from an enemy within 24hrs and resets on use. Its specific to that one enemy so he can't rack up damage from something else. His barrier can only be used 2-3 times every in-game day and even breaks after taking a certain amount of damage.
That demidragon worm only got cucked bc of the brooches he had increasing the damage he could return. W/o the life saving brooches he wouldnt have had enough dmg to return to kill it. Every player in the game gets an embryo so you can expect everyone in the game to get strong ability of their own. (Ex. there's a woman with a reaper-like embryo that can't be sensed with any of the 5 senses by everyone else)

Ray is strong for a newbie but he still gets his ass kicked by veterans in the game. The game Infinite Dendrogram's been around for 3 years irl time (longer in-game) so there's plenty of high level players with total levels over 3000. Half of the action actually comes from the high level players fighting each other. Everyone thinks Ray is OP bc they haven't seen him get in a big fight yet. They also left out the fact that his brother killed like 40 of those worms underground which makes Ray's single kill look a lot bigger.

TLDR: Ray doesn't lose anything and he doesn't need to. He's strong but not strong enough to be OP compared to the power levels of the people/bosses he's fighting. All his friends/enemies are either around his strength or stronger.

I do think NAZ did a bad job w/ introducing Infinite Dendrogram but all these people comparing it to SAO makes me sad :(

The world is full of OP people who make Ray look weak, even though he is relatively strong for a new player. When the situation gets tough, he also gets a lot of help from those other people. Strangely enough, the world does not entirely revolve around the protagonist alone.

There are far more relevant problems, such as some of the overly clichéd dialogue, personalities, predictable slapstick comedy scenes, and plot elements in general. Also uneven plot progression and some characters lacking convincing motivation. It has many legit problems, but the OP-ness of the MC is nowhere near the top of the list.

Incidentally, instead of considering it excellent or absolute trash, the dull reality may just be that it is average. Fairly standard light novel content but with more world-building and alternative viewpoints than usually.

Ray's power is on the balanced side within the world of Infinite Dendrogram, he is a giant killer (PVE focused), his power is only suited to single target damage against one source assuming he survives whatever bullshit power the enemy have.

Here I'll list down some of Ray's opponent and people he know's power, so you can get a good comparison.

Octamillionchrome Cats -Grimalkin: instantly spawn Infinite number of monsters that can drown out a planet, each with enough power to crush ray into smithereens.

Encroaching Demise - Apocalypse: Encroach the world, bring the apocalypse, if damaged enough by it, your player avatar can never recover.

Maiden of Ice - Cocytus: Fuck you to all PVP player, oh you have played pvp and beat at least a 100 players? You're 100% dead if she hits you.

Divine Virulence - Resheph: AOE Instant death attack, no damage calculation, no counter. You get hit, you die.

A bunch of AOEs that can level mountains, some spatial distortion ones that make you can't hit anything, a lot of forced debuff that either kills you or instantly neutralize you, shit that allows one to unconditionally copy others abilities, shit that can bring back the dead, shit that makes you immortal, shit that literally fuck with your perception of reality, shit that overwrite reality.

Yeah, compared to the freaks of nature that are the top players of this game and his own brother's power, he is pretty balanced.

On the spoilers topic, can't a player login using multiple accounts?

I was thinking, if I get such a rare humanoid embryo why not use her for other purposes.. for example, in the line of "Ishu-embryo Reviewers" job ;)

and then create another account until I get common embryo for adventuring..

24hours killed ban? who cares! I'll just login using this account and "have fun" with maiden embryo

You cannot because it record the brainwave. Once you create an account it will be forever saved into the server. No matter which device you will be using latter it will end up the same. This is why Brother Bear use costume because he accidentally create account splitting image with his real world counterpart and also why some player spend month(in game) to create pitch perfect avatar.

This is exact explanation in LN.

“Do you need an explanation on Embryooos?” asked the cat.
“Since you’re offering, I guess I should listen to it,” I said. It’s
probably best to hear the tutorials for unique systems, after all.
“Okaaay,” said the cat. “All players receive an Embryo at the
starrrt. The only time they’ll look the same is while they are in
this zeroth fooorm. With the first form and beyond, they’ll change
in completely different ways based on their ownerrr.”
“Ohhh,” I said. As a gamer, I can’t help but be fascinated by
features that allow for something to be totally unique.
“Although the possibilities are infinite, there are some rough
categorieees,” added the cat.
“Oh, I didn’t know that,” I said. This was because I’d done my
best to block out any information before I started playing. I’d
been worried that I might abandon my entrance exams if I’d
found out something about the game, as it would have made it
harder to resist playing it.
The only information I’d heard from my brother was that “it’s
fun.” It might have been the case that he’d also been worried
about my exams, and so he hadn’t told me anything specific.
“The broad categories arrre: Type Arms — a device type that
players can equip as a weapon or armorrr. Type Guardian — a
monster type that protects the playerrr. Type Chariot — a vehicle
type that players can riiide. Type Castle — a building type that
players can reside innn. Type Territory — a barrier type that players
can deployyy. That’s about ittt.”
“Ohhh,” I said. I was starting to get excited to see how my Embryo
would turn out.
“Also, besides these ones, there are rare and advanced categories
that an Embryo can evolve into, tooo. There are even categories
that are unique to one Embryooo. It’d be nice if you could
get onnne.”
“Wow!” I exclaimed. “But if that’s the case, there are bound to
be players who keep resetting their character until they get a rare
category.”
“Ahh, you can’t remake your character in this gaaame,” said
the cat.
“Huh?”
“Even if someone bought different hardware and played the
game, that person would log in as the same character as the first
tiiime,” Cheshire explained. “Their Embryo would also be the
saaame. This is because we keep records on our side of users’
brain wave dataaa.”
“......” I was silent.
They record our brain wave data... I thought. Yeah, that
sounds kind of scary.
“Even if they were able to reset, it’s all based on that person
anywaaay, so I think their Embryo would end up exactly the
saaame,” said the cat.

Thanks, nice to know details that anime can't cover..
one more thing, in anime he fell from sky after char creation process completed.. is this also true to LN? it seems savage y'know, some people might shit their pants or passed out & traumatized for life just from this ridiculous way of transporting the player to the world

Yeah, that's standard way the Control AIs drop you into the game, you could maybe ask for a softer approach if you know it was coming and ended up with a friendlier control AI, (ie. just Cheshire and Alice) MC just didn't ask.

Tho, it is more traumatizing when you set the visuals to realistic (which the MC did), if you set the visuals to CG and Anime, it becomes a lot less scary.

You mean this scene.

“Okay then, I’m going to send you to the Kingdom of Altar’s royal
capital, Alteaaa,” said the cat.
“Ah, just a second. What are the goals in this game?”
In all the games I’d played since I was a kid, even online ones,
they’d had established goals such as defeating the evil god or demon
king. I thought this game would be the same, but when I asked this
to Cheshire...
“Anythinnng,” was the response I got.
“Anything?” I asked.
“That’s what I meannnt. Anythinnng. You can become a hero or
the demon king, a king or a slave, a good person or an evil person.
You can do something, or you can do nothing. You can stay in
Infinite Dendrogram, or leave it. It’s all up to you. If it’s possible,
then you can do anything you want.” Cheshire’s way of speaking had
changed. “Just like the Embryo in your left hand, what’s about to
begin is infinite in possibility.”
His speech had morphed from the slow drawl. It was almost as if
he were narrating something.
“Welcome to Infinite Dendrogram. We warmly welcome you,” a
voice said.
As soon as these words were spoken, the study disappeared from
my surroundings. The desk, the bookshelf, and even Cheshire,
vanished, and I was left floating in the air.
“Huh?”
Below me was a familiar-looking world. I was looking down on the
same continent I’d seen on the map just moments earlier. Before
long, almost as if my body was being sucked down toward one point
on the continent — the Kingdom of Altar — I started to fall at a great
speed.
And just like that, I set foot in the world of Infinite Dendrogram.
