| I find it odd only that part is in Roman letters...but is it supposed to be 「強えぇぇ」in romaji or what? According to how you'd write it using Nihon-shiki, that makes the most sense. Who else knows Japanese? xD |

Who else knows Japanese? xD Yes, that's Kunrei shiki. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romanization_of_Japanese#Kunrei-shiki It's the same as tsueee (Hepben shiki) Kunrei shiki is actually taught first in grade shcools, which can lead to confusion when Japanese children learn to write their names in Romaji. This is because names on passports are written in Hepbern shiki. This also leads to confusion in English class, where they're supposed to write Japanese words in Hepbern shiki. Both versions work when doing romaji input for typing Japanese though. Other notable differences are ji being zi and fu being hu.You end up getting things like Huzisan (Fujisan, or Mt. Fuji) or tizu (chizu, or map). |
