| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- This chapter was interesting because it touched on the morality and ethics in medicine without exactly trying to. The scene where they chose to take the ventilator off of the child to use it for someone else, therefore letting the child die. In this situation, what is a doctor suppose to do? Is it better to let someone who is close to death just die to help someone who is healthier but still dying live a bit longer? It's a tough choice for the doctor to make. |
