There have been several manga series based on the Super Mario Bros. franchise that have fallen into obscurity, but one that really sticks out to me is the Princess Peach manga called "Otenba Peach-hime" or "Tomboy Princess Peach" as it translates in English. It's basically a series of comedic strips about Princess Peach as a little girl getting into crazy hi-jinks with kid versions of the Mario Bros. and other characters. These strips were never serialized into their own books, but they were published in the Shogakukan magazines from 1992 to 1994. I've only been able to find a few of these comic strips online and I hope the other ones will be uploaded some time in the future. Whenever I get better at understanding Japanese, I plan to translate it if nobody else does first. https://www.mariowiki.com/Otenba_Peach-hime http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~jhp/lib/p.html http://j-s.work/peach.html |
