| As we've seen with Neeko throughout, her anxiety about finding a job is incredibly serious (as is her guilt about her inability to do so and the burden she's causing her family), so the mother and friend really need to tread carefully here; Neeko certainly needs a little push towards getting a job, but pushing too hard could make the situation far worse. It's going to be interesting to see how carefully the series handles this issue after this chapter; will it be tactful and careful, or will it be blunt and disregard Neeko's issues in the way that anime sometimes trivialises depression and other similar issues? |
