The manga is expected to continue upto 41 volume,so expect it to continue upto next year.

with the DK finally finished. I think this will continue for at least 10-20 more chapters at least for the epilogue or a new arc.

The final battle with all the 7 Sins against the Demon King is one of the greatest finale, especially with the Full Counter, although i hoped Arthur would have returned back until now.

I liked the Full Counter trick.

But this is still by far the worst battle shounen ending to date.

No not necessarily but the Demon King was introduce as this all powerful being and I thought he should be an overwhelming opponent for the Deadly Sins. And yet I felt like the Demon King wasn't what I was expecting

But you're right why another drag it any longer, let's just finish it !!

Is it......is it finally over? Is the Demon King actually dead? Or is he gonna pull out one last "this is my real final form" for the 98th time......anyway finally this overly dragged out fight is over. It lasted way longer than it needed to.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

I might not have read or watched the rest of 7 deadly sins except half of Season 2
but was this arc in the manga that bad?

maybe it will get better again , It might be the author is just tired of this arc

He dragged rhis demon king arc too much... demon king should had died the first time meliodas killed him and not comeback again he should had instead introduced the supreme deity who we know nothing about.... i dont think the series will end yet as supreme deity still hasnt appeared

I was curious of why this arc was that bad
It might had been the author is tired writing this arc
+ when the Anime reach there, maybe the author is going to interfer in the studio and fix the mistakes
I didn't continue the Anime but will once season 3 ends

Maybe the Anime can fix that, once it reach there the author can interfer in the studio telling them what to change

DK's difficulty as an enemy isn't really that huge considering he's up against this lineup,

1. Meliodas whose powers are equally or nearly DK level.
2. Ban post-purgatory strength (minus Immortality though)
3. Escanor "The One: Ultimate"

Add in Diane+King+Gowther+Elizabeth and even Zeldris. Also don't forget Merlin gave them a buff that boosted their power by a huge amount.


What surprised me is it took them this long and that much to finally kill the DK.


DK is undeniably strong, probably the strongest villain of this manga so far but then again if you look at it closely, the main characters are way too broken.
