We're given details about the true nature of the curse; this explains why the other outsider lived when sensei chopped his head off, and why the humans within the walls were so quick to raze their own quarter and slaughter civilians. What I'm most curious about is how Shiva seems to have spread the curse, but hasn't contracted any symptoms of her own. This is getting more and more interesting. |

"You can never die"? Sounds like an invitation to immortality and I'm very surprised the church or other humans don't want to be cursed. Surely there's more to the story than just immortality, otherwise it wouldn't make sense for human history.

I agree, there's no way the clergy wouldn't immediately jump at the opportunity of becoming immortal, even if at the cost of turning into a beast. but hey at least our auntie doesn't seem to be that bad after all, I still wouldn't let my guard down but at least for now she seems alright |
