Anime adaptation of the Manga

I watched the anime which was released last week by the time this post is written. And when comparing the anime with the manga, is it just me or is the storyline a bit deviated from the manga, because I noticed alot of omitted dialogue and moments like that.

Neither the anime nor the manga are the original, it was originally a light novel. Both adaptations take some artistic license to make the story work in a visual medium.
