JC Staff did the 'Shana-tan' and 'Index-tan' chibi comedy specials as a series of 'inside jokes' because Shakugan No Shana, Index, Railgun (and now Accel) were published in book/manga format by the same publishers (Kadokawa) and JC Staff did all the anime for the two franchises. Railgun has had NO Index/Shana-tan like specials on it's English BR/DVDs (so far) so I doubt they'll do one for Accelerator. although a itty bitty, teeny tiny 'Zappa-tan!' (for Railgun's 'bug-zapper' nickname) would have been a HALARIOUS running gag competing with chibi 'Index-tan' riding and nomming on Touma's head etc.

considering Funimation hasn't done the 'Index-tan Chibi Comedy Shorts' since Index Season2, AND I've seen Funimation's 'contents listing' of the English dub Index S3 PART 1 AND PART2 BR/DVD boxed sets and the 'Index-tan' specials aren't listed on either boxed set... we'll have to wait and see if 'Index-tan 3' comes out in PART 2 of Funimation's dub release when it comes out JAN 7, 2020. my copy of Part 1 is coming in the mail and I've already pre-ordered Part 2. if I remember it, I'll try and respond again with an update when I've received Index3 Part1 in the mail soon and when Part2 arrives next year. :)
