DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's been few years since Spring 2015 but honestly, the show felt like it never left. The mood still retains the familiar style of the previous season. Now obviously Bell is a lot tougher now after his training. We also got Bell and Hestia's usual character chemistry. The party they had had a decent amount of returning characters. Asfi in that dress though! Freya too. Hestia's personality hasn't changed at all lol. Ais also looks great in her dress. That dance!  |

| Bell dancing with Ais perfect ending!! The season is already over there is nothing left to see!! On a serious note Ais appeared before the annoying loli goddess which is always a good thing. And the new god is bad news i dislike him already. At least Freya has a more subtile approach in trying to obtain Bell kun and she has a somewhat likable character but that can't be said for Apollo. PS i am not biased towards Ais at all... |

| It’s been a long while and it’s great to have this show back! Right off the bat, Bell-kun is in trouble and it seems as though the new god is up to no good whatsoever. Clearly, the Hestia family was staged but it’s true that Bell’s teammate initiated the attack so that’s bad news. Looking forward to seeing how Bell manages to fight back this precarious situation. I wonder if the secret meeting between one of his legions and the mysterious person could come into play sometime. Anyway, that aside, a big props to God Hermes for staging the dance between Ais and Bell there! He’s prepared for the consequences too xD, what a great man! I’m sure there’s something more to him though, sadly. Goddess Freya makes another subtle move but Hestia just managed to evade that in time. Lol, she was asking for a herd of Minotaurs again, she’s not to be taken lightly for sure. Op seemed fine and the animation pretty fine too. Hopefully, J.C. Staff will not falter to the peer pressure of keeping up with 3 shows simultaneously in the coming weeks. |

| Looks like some real bastards arrived. The appollo familly is full of bastards it seems.I seriously wanna see those bastards eat shit asap. Hope Belle owns em all alone in the war game. Aside that bell and Ais looked really cute together. The dance was pretty funny but gd thng bell managed to dance well at the end and lol Hermes seriously did an awesome job putting em together like that.Anyway looks like thngs gonna heat up from the get go , looking forward to next episode |

| Animation was pretty damn solid, J.C really did put their resources here. EP already started pissing me off, why do stereo type bad guys always do shit like that. Apollo went full on rape face when it came to Bell, hope he kicks that level 3's ass as payback, I aint getting my ends deal if he doesnt. Anyways of to a good start, hopefully this continues. |

| Bell and his party sure have grown in strength since that last boss battle. The quiet drink at the bar sure got spoiled by those jerks from Apollo familia. Nice to see Eina again as well. To think that Apollo familia would invite them to a banquet though. Still a perfect opportunity to see the cast in a more formal setting while also allowing the series to reintroduce known characters as well while allowing Bell to finally meet Freya. The punishment from Mikoto and Naaza though was hillarious. Loki and Hestia's bickering sure ended up bringing some excellent comedy. While being roped in being able to dance with Ais sure was an excellent reward. While both were equally inexperienced the assists from Bell's friends went a long way in helping keeping things smooth. So that was Apollo's game then a war game to sate their alleged slight by Hestia familia with the main goal of taking Bell. A cunning move indeed given the size disparity between the two familia's. An excellent opening ep that did well in both reintroducing the main cast and setting also did well in showing how much Bell and party have grown. Looking forward to seeing the war game. The dance between Bell and Ais was beautiful. |

As an LN reader, I'm kind of glad their glossing over most of this. It's all just set up and not really important. They got the highlights of what needed to be shown without wasting peoples time. The best parts of this season will come later. |
| Loved this first episode. Art was so good that i'm genuinely concerned about the well-being of J.C Staff animators & chara-designers with 3 others anime per week. Also, the sole fact that I won't see Lefiya from Sword Oratoria soothe my heart. |

| GREAT EPISODE! That was a nice pace to ease us back into the world of DanMachi after such a long break! Man, i didn't realise how much i missed Bell... precious smol bean haha I love the comedy in this show, especially Hermes (who is best wing man btw). Looks like next weeks episode is set up to be an action packed one! |

| I don't know why, but it is giving me warning flags that this is another Sword Oratoria. The villian is just so lame.... I will wait for season end to check if it is worth watch. |

| Hestia is back and watching this episode made me realize how much I missed her <3 Ais cute af as always. Hermes best wingman and I loved how the others helped him too. Fuck Apollo and his familia. Well, maybe not the girl with blue hair, I kinda like her.  |

| Damn, the ED got me going is that a repeat of the 1st season's theme song. Anyway, the setting is still pretty familiar (ha ha) and it doesn't feel like it's been that long since the first season. What is the war game though? Can't wait! |

| Been about 3 years since I saw the first season, but with it being back now, it honestly feels like it's just been a few months. Either way it's great to see so many familiar faces. I have missed our "loli big boobs" Hestia, gotta love her. Bell-kun gets into a fight with the Apollo Familia, seems that wasn't a smart thing to do. That one guy (not learned his name yet) absolutely wiped the floor with Bell-kun. Very nice to see all these characters in lovely dresses. Especially Freya, god damn! Good to see Hestia and Loki just being like old times again. Brings back memories. Hermes is the MVP this episode, setting up Bell-kun to dance with Ais. Bell-kun has a lot of support from the other gods/goddesses and their children when dancing with Ais. That dance was pretty sweet! Apollo is an interesting, yet creepy guy. A War Game, that's gonna be something. Shame they were set up like that though. |

| Better of what I expected of the current JC Staff. The visuals looked fine and it was nice to see the characters of the series again. Eina still best girl, even if she will probably not appear much. Hermes was easily the best character of the episode, the best wingman one could have. The final scene with Apollo turning full SAO villain while licking the screen saying Bell's name must be one of the most hilarious things I have watched in a while. I knew he would be a jerk, but that was too over-the-top to take seriously. |
