| I'm really enjoying the series... but still confused as hell, though. I can't keep up with all the eras, factions, families, etc, etc, etc. All I can manage to keep up with, is that the good guys want to destroy that blasted head... lol. |
| I would have to be the same. I'll do some reading up sooner or later so I can vaguely understand what's going on. I assume Okita Souji is gonna get himself killed after he ran off at the end of this episode since I remember reading that he died on the same day he saw a black cat. :( |

We got some good background story At this point I already think that this is one of the best samurai animes ever. There is nothing exaggerated about it. The atmosphere is great, same is with the music themes, and the characters - they're just great too. |

| Finally got some more backstory on Akizuki. Now I'm less confused about what the fuck is going on. |

| Good episode, the pace is nice in the series, So we got Akizuki backstory, that's really helpful, still there is a difficulty to keep up with the historical background. |
