This year's July issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shounen Magazine announced on Wednesday that Tomo Takeuchi's dance manga Ballroom e Youkoso (Welcome to the Ballroom) will resume serialization in the August issue on July 6.

The award-winning manga began its serialization in November 2011, but has been on hiatus since December 2017 due to Takeuchi's health. Kodansha published the ninth compiled volume in June 2017.

A 24-episode TV anime by Production I.G began airing in Summer 2017 and concluded in December of that year. Amazon's defunct Anime Strike service streamed the series in North America while its Prime Video service streamed it in Japan, Canada, and other territories.

Kodansha Comics licensed the manga in English in 2016 and shipped the ninth volume last January.

Think about it, the anime adapted everything currently from the manga, how is this a good chance?
It would be many years, like 3-6 before there would be material for a S2.
No, a chance for a S2 for this one is dead in the water.

lol of course I know. the manga resume that means there will be more chapter in the near future. more chapters will be a good signal to anime to get season 2. atleast not now...but in the future maybe yes.

Very unlikely since it would at least need 3-5 years, considering I dont see this getting a S2 that is not 24 episodes, and the anime came out in 2017, very unlikely to get a S2 since the anime wont be that popular anymore in a few years, so while there maybe material, no one will want to risk it, sequels to anime that aired 3-5 years ago are rare for a reason.
