THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

The weather in the mountains can be fickle I guess. It must have been terrifying to be in a storm in such an open field, but I would love to have the experience myself. lol

Pichi is also a precious little bird. Peter got a bit jealous of it because the little bird took all of Heidi's attention, but it seems that he is going to warm up to it soon. And poor Joseph was misunderstood, but Heidi now sees him as part of the family!

Peter got jealous at a precious 5-year-old for a little chick. Ah, how cute and innocently childish of him. I like him. His consistent cravings for food are similar to mine. Nonetheless, his apparent mannerisms got the attention of the townsfolk and made them even more suspicious of the grandfather than they already are. This could prove to be a problem soon.

Joseph was the cool, silent protagonist type in this episode. He came in, saved the little bird despite being under heavy distrust, and got out as if this is a common occurrence to him. Joseph, the MVP dog.

I can only imagine how terrifying that storm was for Heidi, the lightning was so close. I liked how the grandpa trusted that everything would be alright because Peter was there. It shows that even though he is seen as strict and mean by outsiders, he isn't just a grumpy old man and has good assessments of people. Even though Heidi is more used to the mountain now, its still wild that she chose to go down by herself.
