So obvious spoilers but I watched the movie a bit later than most. So obviously at the end Kumatetsu becomes used his new position of lord to become a God and become the sword in Ren’s heart/soul and is now living inside of Ren forever. So like.....what do you think happens afterwards? Is he basically just gonna sit inside Ren for the rest of his life? They can clearly talk to each other, but won’t Kumatetsu be bored just.....sitting inside Ren as he goes to college and stuff? The very things he hates. I mean I get that it’s suppsoed to be cute that they are always together now but kinda sucks that he gave up his initial form and now is living inside of someone for the rest of his life.

Honestly I was left wondering that question at the end too. I think probably an issue is its meant to be taken a bit more metaphorically, but also... he's literally there and unable to go anywhere else.

Then again there's things we don't know about gods so maybe it's possible for him to do other things.

I think the point is that he didn't want Ren to ever have to feel alone and like he has to do everything on his own ever again. He wants to be there for Ren forever. He loves Ren like a father and son relationship. They're incredibly close and you can tell it brings Ren's anxiety down and makes him feel at ease knowing his shisho is always with him.

Yes that s what i thought too aha. But that only add depth to his ultimate sacrifice ^^ At least if Kyota became a powerful warrior or something, but no, he will never use again what Kumatetsu teached him. What a bummer

Don't think too much.

Because if you do, you will realize that:

- Kuma ended like that for nothing, thanks to the monstruous HYPOCRISY of Aizen.

- And after all Ren will follow the path of a depressing average japanese worker life, bringing Kuma to this hell.

End.
