| it's funny that howard points out shingo's lack of friends, due to being alienated from his obsession with robotics, younger age, and behavior. but how many of howard's friends at school were truly his genuine friend, under no influence of his father and only desiring to stay atop of the hierarchy by joining his bully group? even bell was more of a lackey shining all their shoes at that time. horror worthy suspense at the end there. everyone's cheering, hopeful to get rescued and then the music abruptly cuts to silence for luna to reveal that the voice they had heard was only the voice that she had been hearing all along. it's too early to escape the island now anyways. |
