THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
We got to see new characters in this episode. Characters like Jaddo who is Hiro's brother, came back to claim a seat to the throne after his father banished him from the castle. His appearance was cut short though after the human/demon war erupted and Azalea's reenforcement army appeared along with "Chick". I guess now Hiro has more allies thanks to Chick's negotiations of him being in a service of Azalea if she applies reenforcement army to Hiro.

I felt like the production was cut short because of some constraints, but nonetheless it was decent. 5/10.

Well, this started off much better than the first episode.
And, well, honestly, it seems like it's better animated overall.

Also, The story is still a bit convoluted... All I'm really able to discern about the plot is that there's a war between demons and humans, and everybody is arguing over it, causing the majority of the episode to be boring.

Another thing I'm wondering about... if this takes place in the year 997, in this fantasy setting with swords and shields, then why and how does that one dude have a god damn pistol?

Anyway, by the time they finally get to some action, it's not bad, but it only lasts for a little bit, and then there's just a forced resolution to the overall plot. I guess they may have originally been planning on making a third OVA but had to wrap things up early?
Or maybe they just wanted people to go buy the game to finish the story?

In any case, while this episode was better put together than the first, this still wasn't that great. I give this episode a 4/10.
And I give the whole OVA a 3/10.

This was a little better than the first episode, but it was still really bad. Bad 3D backgrounds, terrible animation, awful action sequences, and a mess of pacing. More characters are introduced with no time to do much of anything. Nothing was really good, and then it just ends. Also, what happened to the preview of this episode that showed a modern-day city? What a mess...
