| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- While watching the following video: https://youtu.be/0dpv65FQOQw and the whole controversy surrounding it, I just had to check this out to be honest for it just being like the weirdest thing they could even go for, being an anime.... Really amazed on how this even exist or was allowed to be sold in the first place. They sure ain't not messing around with the synopsis of this anime: >The cult created its own studio called MAT (Manga, Animation, and Team) in 1991 for the sole purpose of recruiting otaku into their cult. Pretty crazy if you ask me, but I guess it sure was one way to find new followers in one way or another. But still quite unbelievable to me and still do not really know what I should think about "this". |

| Content of all episodes was beyond boring. The funniest parts were the amateur voice acting done by the cult members. I laughed especially hard at the opening song. The misheard lyrics sounds like he's singing about stinky nether regions. |

| Damn. This was downright awful and undoubtedly unsettling. Anyone who has ZERO knowledge about this OVA that just so happens to watch it for the first time in their lives would think this is some harmless religious propaganda. But the very truth about the so-called "noblest and purest" leader from this exact OVA was actually a leader of a terrorist cult in Japan? I call absolute BS on this. Their cult was responsible for a deadly subway attack decades ago and the contents of this OVA was innocent slice-of-life to brainwash real people to recruit into their cult? A big pile of stinkin' BS. |
