| I love this anime, but I don't like the character designs from the start even though they are the same than in the manga. The girls have too pointy chins and too big eyes for my taste - sometimes, when the animation is really lousy and cheap half of their face is taken up by the eyes but other times, mostly in the important scenes, where you can tell the animators paid attention to the details (like the kissing scene in the last episode), their eyes are depicted in a more natural proportion. But to answer your question, I don't think the animation outstanding in general but the important scenes are well done. |

| So your saying that its like a cake that looks excellent but taste generic, right? I don't mind some of those blank face on some scenes. The art is way above average than most anime. Lightings are great, some camera angle are nice, details of the floor or even the desk or chalkboard are great. As for character designs, I think those designs that will blend well on an environment like that. |

| Not really, I find the animation to be actually pretty subtle yet brilliant. It's the sort of animation that to me prioritizes small motions over big sweeping actions, which I think really works for this show. |

| Um...it's pretty well-animated as far as anime goes, so I don't know where you're coming from there. EDIT: After seeing the second episode, I now see what you mean. I should make a resolve not to base the animation quality of a show on the first episode. |

I didn't like the animation from the start, for your information, especially the way the faces are animated. Those blank expressions don't communicate what they're supposed to. And the 3d bits are downright awful. It's like recordings from a computer game engine. So you like the animation? Then fucking go and make the thread praising it, instead of bitching about ungrateful humanity. Otherwise you're a part of the problem, you snowflake. | I think the art is unique. In the beginning episodes there were a lot of static scenes, like non moving images floating across, and it seemed to me like maybe the art style was chosen to be more cost effective??? But further into the series, I see less frozen imagery, so it really seems like an artistic choice. I personally like it |
