If you wish to talk about something else, please consider making another thread for the subject. 8. No spam - Keep the chat clean, it saves a lot of headaches. 9. Respect others’ anime choices - Some people will not like your favourite anime. It should be expected. | No problem. It's just that no club would never get anywhere without some sort of promotion. If you want more members, you need to be visible to the outside world. (Unless you're trying to run a secret 18+ club for a small group of like-minded perverts) Invites, Affiliates, Banners -- even my current forum signature -- could be considered to be promoting a club. I've rarely ever seen that kind of activity reach a level where it becomes a problem, so as to require such a rule. I was just wondering how such a rule came to be, since this club would need to promote itself to some extent, and it's unlikely that people would be promoting other clubs here to the extent that this activity would need to be banned. |

| @Nyaa When thoses rules were made , we were just starting the club with around 10 members with no banner or affiliated , etc. Thoses rules were also inspired from another community ( because somes of the admins here , including me , come from another commu ) and we were not used to how MAL was working. We are only starting to clearly understand it now. As mentionned on description layout , we are a new club , but also new people in MAL aswell ( at least main admins are new to MAL ) |
