| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This Kawaji guy is great. I knew what he was up to the moment he took their bribe. What beautiful irony that the money now finances the western doctors. Not sure yet where this will lead, especially since the shogunate doctors found out about it, but for now it's good news and morale is high. The rape scene was pretty horrible. Somehow the women surrounding Ibuya have a higher chance of getting raped by shady samurai. Pretty sad for him, I wonder if this will lead to another duel eventually. Meanwhile Tezuka continuous to be a womanizing machine. I wonder how long he can keep that up. Maybe the new girl will be the one to make him settle down a bit more, altho I doubt it just yet. |

| Seems like that not all members of the council are involved with the anti western doctor campaign, only the higher ranked and traditional doctors that are directly under the Shogun. Tezuka doing what he can best aside from being a good guy. Pretty hilarious concindence that it had to be the girl that was choosen to marry him, at least he already got to know her a lot better xD Also cool that Okon came along ^^ |

| Ironic how the Koushougaku's money became the funds to support the western doctors whom they oppose, good job Kawaji-sama. Quite terrible that Shina got raped there by that bastard all because Manjirou is affiliated with the foreigners, hope she gets a happy end at least |
