Wow, the restuarant got really popular and busy nowadays.

Sui got some noticable moments this episode that balanced between a melacholic and comedic mood. I mean, that chopping scene was just priceless. Honestly, I think this show was a bit average. The storytelling felt stale but it did manage to occasionally catch my interest with some of its themes.

I'm not going to lie: I started this one because the main characters were handsome, but I got so much from it, it was such a pleasant surprise. I loved to follow up the struggles and little victories and everything else, it had many heartwaming, wholesome moments and the ending wasn't different, I loved it.

My only problem is the way the reunion between the twins ended, I know it was a too big of a gap to be magically resolved with an invitation and a talk, but it was still bittersweet the way Kyou said he wouldn't be coming back ever again, but I'm willing to believe they will be in good terms again someday, his boyfriend, I mean, his best friend seems inclined to help him recover his bond with his brother and I think they just need time. I was glad to see that cup fixed, I'm going to miss this one a lot!

That mochi pounding became intense quickly, I though Gure was going to smash Tsubaki's hand but they did better than Toki and Sui. Ayakyou is one stuck up in the ass brother, I don't why he hates Rokuhoudou or Sui and I thought the series would address that but it didn't.

For me this series was the best slice of life of the season, it delivered well but the only problem was how did the other guys joined up with Rokuhoudou especially Tsubaki. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and wished to experience the ambience, the food also that was offered by the shop. The shop had also great service along with a unique classical Japanese style, if it was real I would've been there like that.

Crossing my fingers for a second season, 8/10

I loved the guys since the beginning. The stories were cute and it wasn't your typical slice of life, cause it had very sweet moments and well, it's an anime that shows food and people loving food so that makes it different too.
I wanted to know why the twins grew apart, but well, i hope we get a new season someday :(

This was a wholesome, adorable, and sometimes emotional slice of life that I'm very happy Melonpan recommended. I loved seeing many of the characters throughout the season make a cameo appearance in the last episode. 8.5/10.

Just like one user reviewed: "Some episodes give off the perfect feeling of peace and relaxation with a quiet atmosphere and characters taking time off from their hard lives to have dessert or drink some tea. Other episodes can get borderline sleep inducing. Not because of the peaceful premise, but out of sheer boredom". It was a good watch nonetheless.

That is exactly what i thought during the last episode. I like to believe they will strengthen their bond over time and recover the great relationship they had.

Like the others mentioned, I did enjoy this show quite a bit, but I really wasn't satisfied with how the relationship with the twins went unresolved. I understand the older one is a hard ass, but I didn't really understand what the grudge was between the two besides "we chose different paths in life".

Otherwise, this was a very relaxing and enjoyable show. As a gay man, it was nice to watch a series where all the women aren't fawning over the attractive men. I think Gure was easily my favorite. The food looked delicious and made me wish a Rokuhoudou was near me. The kitten episode might be my favorite of all of them. I wish we got to see the little black kitty again.

I can't accept that this slice of heaven has ended.

I don't know what kind of problem between Sui and Yakyou had but maybe they have different principles and goals in life as time goes by. That's okay, it was a big step to see Yakyou drinking tea using his old cup in Rokuhoudou... I believe that one day he will come back, no matter how long it takes :)

I really laughed at the mochi making scene x"D I even replayed that particular scene many times because it was so funny. Gure was so fired up that it scared Tsubaki and gave his goosebumps, even some of his hair was cut off by the strong wind slash caused by Gure XD. I never knew that making mochi could be that funny, extra, cool and sensual :'3 Sui and Tokitaka's duo were not shy at all in showing their ikemen side even when making mochi, hahaha.

This anime reminds me of Isekai Shokudou and... maybe this is quite impossible but seeing Isekai Shokudou can get a second season, I hope Rokuhoudou can also get a second season. I'll wait no matter how long it takes because I'm enjoying this so much :")

And I think my favorite is Tokitaka. He seems to get the least credit (Gure gets credit for his humor and unique latte art, Tsubaki for his sweets and tsundere nature, Sui because he's basically the "main" mc, and Tokitaka is the least highlighted...) but I personally think he's one of the most important foundations of Rokuhoudou's re-establishment and the one who keeps everything in balance. But I like them all~ ♡♡

Ahhh I seriously can't accept it's over T---T heartwarming, cozy, relaxing. It has a fair amount of sweet and touching moments and also gives and reminds life values well too.. as Sui once said, "it hasn't been all happy things, there's been sad things and important things that happened" that's absolutely right so let's enjoy every moments while we can ;)

This series was a pleasant experience all the way through! I'm very glad that I decided to watch this series on a whim. The characters are good as well. It's a shame there aren't more seasons because I would've happily kept on watching this. Will check out the manga instead.

EDIT: Fuck, there's barely any translated chapters for this...
