| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- legit spent the entire season/2 cours on day 2, barely even got to day 3 after 25 episodes.. god damn. They give way too much screentime to Kyoto Fushimi who I, to be honest, dgaf about.. Contrary to many people, I actually like Hakone quite a bit, and actually cheered for them to win a lot of checkpoints, so I don't mind them actually winning something. Weaker than previous season, focused far too much on the competition and less on the characters, which is the best part of any sports anime. It was a missed opportunity to cut the training camp short last season imo. Still would love to have another season. I think Sohoku will win this year and lose next year's interhigh, or at least I hope so. The team desperately needs to be respected, as they barely get any press despite being last year's champion. Hakone will come back stronger next year to claim back their throne. |

| I think the manga haven't finish the last day. Honestly, even if Sohoku is the main team, but I wish another team win the race, HakoGaku or KyoFushi. I mean, most of (or every) anime sport I have watched, the main team lose one time, but I know for YowaPeda it's different cause it take them 2 seasons for one competition... And Manami is late for the last day lol... |

| I cannot believe they just left us hanging like that! I mean all this episode focused on was a slight recap by Sakamichi, reminiscing and pumping up himself as usual. Damn, they sucked on this inter high, it's the third day but they haven't won shit from the tournament. I guess it makes sense since they are being led by a weak captain Teshima, that guy's strategies never worked at all and only set them back. No wonder Imaizumi was upset at him at one point because of his strategies, damn he should've learned a lot from Kinjou. Sakamichi didn't have that shine he had on the previous inter high, he didn't even compete a single climb competition from those two days. Manami won the first and Akishiba won the second one, what kind of previous champ shows such a mediocre display. He kinda took the role of a back character, and I'm still saddened by the fact that he didn't get to race Manami. The only person who showed initiative on the Sohoku team was Naruko, he reached second place on the 1st day and was trying so hard to win, he only got held back by his teammates for me. Imaizumi did place second on the second day, but I don't feel any frustration from him or any kind of motivation. I gotta give it to Izumida for building such an amazingly strong team, his team only lost one race! I'm glad though Midousuji won the second race, that is one strong bastard. I like that he takes the third day serious, judging by those shaves, hell, even that crazy creep Kishigami shaved! Overall I felt this was repetitive in some way, from the previous inter high events. It also became tedious at some points, Kaburagi was also an annoyance. The animation wasn't up to standard at some point. It focused too much on the touchy feely stuff too much, and Kishigami was a hentai. But I liked the development of characters though, they kinda gave characters a platform to shine with all those back stories. They made us care and kinda root for them to win. But even that followed a certain pattern on the execution. But it's been a year and no season 5, wow! I guess maybe next year. 7/10. |

| YowaPeda got some issues with ending seasons on huge cliffhangers (especially since this season is misleadingly called Glory Line). These last two seasons have been going downhill in my opinion with the asspull win at day 1, most races not up to par with the first Inter-High and how weak Sohoku has become with them mostly catching up after getting left behind instead of actually racing it out. Still hope that a new season comes to finish day 3. |

| Dayum... i just binge watched all seasons these past few days and here I am hanging in the middle of the last Inter high daaaay without any news about the 5th seasons when I was certain it was for 2021 😭... Too lazy to read the manga though... let’s just hope for an announcement and I guess for a recap episode when that time arrive |

| Let's see... this was released last 2018. I can't believe I waited for 4 and a half years for the 5th season, for the last day of Interhigh. Wow... time races like Onoda climbs mountains! The gap is too big I had to watch from the start. This gap made me see more flaws from this anime. And I guess, in the end, I'm fine with the flaws. There are some great moments, even if most of them are not Interhigh scenes. I wish this was better tho. Anyway, I forgot a lot of stuff that the only thing I remember was being disappointed of the fact that Sohoku hadn't won anything in the past 2 seasons yet. I'm off to the 5th season now (which is ongoing with 8 episodes). Wishing for Sohoku to win the third day, to have 2 consecutive wins in Interhigh, or else I'd regret watching and re-watching this anime at all. TvT Btw my boi Komari also shaved his head. I'm so scared he'll be creepier than before. I could bear with his creepiness because at least he kinda looked pretty with his hair. :') |
