| same here. also i love that daigo isn't the best player on his team and the dolphins aren't all bad LOL. one of the key things in major when goro was younger, was that he was always the only good player in his teams causing him too be OP. and i like that this time, daigo is more focused on having a good battery than being the best player ever! |
| I did not watch the original major, only watching major 2nd ANd in my opinion, most episodes feels too slow and boring. And there not even any real match in those 7 episodes, and they wasted too much time on his freind leaving him On other hand, Captain Tsubasa (2018) is day and night better. The last episode kept me at edge. Even the training episodes was way better than anything I've in seen Major 2, it give you a different feeling. I wonder if the original Major is as slow as this one and waste time on some boring character drama |
| So far, I like this more than Major, which is big to me, as Major is probably my favorite Sports show. Its more realistic, and I find Daigo/Hikaru/Sakura much more fun and enjoyable than their older counterparts of Goro/Satou/Shimizu. I like the pacing, Daigo's failures, and the characters have good chemistry mostly IMO |

It's about "I'm friends with the ball" rather than something a bit more deeper like Daigo and Hikaru's relationship with baseball. Dragon said: Same! This is more realistic I find. | Hopefully, Major 2nd will be the first baseball anime that doesn't feature an overpowered pitcher as the main character. I really hope Daigo stays a catcher lol. |
