DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So this chapter is implying that Saga's evil side is the reincarnation of the original Ares or at least they share some similarities, well Ares never appeared in the original manga so I guess that is fine. | Believe me or not, I've been waiting for years to see Saga as Aries incarnation in manga. I just really liked the concept of it from the very first time I heard about it. First of all, more gods = more fun (haha), but not only that. More importantly, the best explanation for Saga's evil side is that it was caused by a god who wanted to take over Saga's body, but had to struggle with the strong will of this one of the strongest Saints among the Gold ones. That's why we had good Saga (light hair, his normal form) and evil Saga (dark hair, his evil form), struggling on getting full control. |

After reading the last Next Dimension chapters involving the 13th Gold Saint Odysseus, it looks that the good/evil thing is common to the Geminis users like Cain/Abel. Still there are like endless ways to link Ares to Saga like for example Shun/Hades (got a costellation as Saints but still is destined to be a host of a god) so let's hope the authors keep expanding the concept before the arc finishes. |
