The writer has left the open end to attract people to read the manga
But I do not think there will be a second part because the first part did not get a good evaluation and follow-up

Actually, the first 12 episodes cover the first 30 chapters of the manga, with little filler (like Inaba's 3rd episode), and with some adaptation compression (Jerome Hongou a.k.a. Bear brute's backstory left out); apparently, the entire Destroyal arc was actually an introduction/prologue, and it served that purpose well imho. It has laid background information for most of the more important characters and setting.
As for a second season, there's still not enough manga chapters to adapt, no proper ending point (like chapter 30 of S1 for example), and not much information on sales (manga/BD/merch/etc) yet.

From what I've read about the manga after the anime's endpoint, that's when things really take off. The better way to have done an anime adaptation would have been to wait until there was enough material to make the second arc, and started with that to launch the anime side of the franchise. Later on they could have adapted the first chapters as a spin-off prequel series to establish the lore which caused the events of the second arc.

Wasn't too keen to finsh this . Dropped it on ep 3 becouse I simply wanted to watch other shows . Might give it another chance one day

With some of the things that happens in the recent manga chapters (up to chapter 64 as of this post) it's probably better there won't be a Season 2. I figure anime watchters would just be more pissed off than usual to the events that goes on later in the series.

I can't help but wonder if the last episode (or the last two, maybe) ruined the show for a lot of people. Before that, the show was pretty fun, but there were just so many strange and sudden developments in the last episode that it was hard to process. The show has a formula that is attractive to a lot of people: Cute but wild female character with a good design, anthropomorphism, fantasy battles, fanservice, milquetoast male lead...
