Geh. Not much to add but it was a cold breeze chapter. =_= tfw you can't read Chinese. I will patiently wait for J-raws.

nb. Next chapter will be released on May 1, 2018. Maybe I will read Chuugakusei-hen in the meantime.

Arata tries to make up for his victory by offering first to play without his glasses then finally agrees to let Taichi win by luck of the draw

Taichi is now pisses off. He even tells Chihya that she is in his way when she opens the windows. He did plan to tell Suo to visit his family in Nagasaki if he won but Suo leaves much to the consternation of Harada and Hiroshi who want to support Taichi

the Nagumo society is concerned because Arata is not playing like normal Arata is confused because he did not want to win that way He finally concludes that Taichi hates him and he should treat him like a rival and crush him.
Taichi has been trying to get Arata to admit that he is not a good guy and treat him like the "teki" that Taichi treats him as They both see each other as being their way

Harada is concerned that the boys are no longer friends. As he told Hero in the beginning about Chihaya If a person has no karuta friends they will not continue in karuta.
Shinobu arrived with the underkimono for Momo. Kana helps her put it on The Blnderer arrives with energy drinks for everyone

I think Taichi will win against Arata in this match.

Taichi has been blindly following Suo's playing style and he will need to figure out and play his own style. He is already a strong player before he started training under Suo.

Taichi will also need to win a proper match against Arata to become Arata's eternal rival.

I love Arata so much. He is so HONORABLE AND RIGHTEOUS. He immediate owned up to his mistakes and tries to resolve the situation (I thought his offer was fair, but Taichi's response is good, too). He is a true man, far from the cowardly Taichi.

I like how Arata was able to quickly come to terms with his loathing Taichi, though, I think his reasons for that loathing is not made as clear as Taichi. We know Taichi bullied Arata when they were kids because he wanted Chihaya's attention and was jealous, so Taichi hates Arata for budding into his romance. But Arata only began to find Taichi a nuisance when Taichi began to become a powerful foe in Karuta. Arata's love for Chihaya is not top of his mind and doesn't seem to have that much to do with it. Regardless, with Taichi having to play Karuta forever, and Arata aiming for the top spot, they are now lifelong rivals, I think, which is good.
