So, I just finished volume 4. Events known from GGO are starting to mix in (well, more like event that lead to creation of Laughing coffin, which lead to those events).
Kirito x Asuna relationship starting to resemble original counterpart from latest of Aincrad floors, I got feels like point of collision and their separation is coming. On other hand, writer also could choose to go alternative path, because I feel like he really doesn't want to write story without Asuna.
Not that I even hope we will get all 75 floors volume (that would be quiet epic saga) but volume 5 will be released and hopefully translated this year, maybe Reki-dono will focus on progressive more now. :)

Volume 4 was a great volume, with the return of Morte from the second volume. It seems that the direction of Asuna and Kirito's relations are growing closer, but at the same time, Asuna realizes that she may end up too dependent on him. The scene where Asuna falls into the trapdoor really spikes her character to be determined and independent.
Sooner or later, though, Asuna will make her mind and take her mark and split up with Kirito to go on her own path.
I have so many guesses on what might happen.
Loved this volume.

depends really . Atm it seems progressive isn't a priority atm . A givin that reki is working with A-1 on season 3 and he's been planning the last arc which the first volumes comes out in December . Plus he has accel world and isolater.. But I think the plan is to cover the timeskips fully .

Which floor where covered in the orginal vol agian ??

You mean original Sword art online? :D Like first day on first floor and then only floors 74 and 75. And volume 2 stories was like some 3 or 4 random 40+ floors?

Yeah, he should rather start working on it. That's why I wrote I don't believe we will ever get all 75 floors. Even though 70+ Volume novel series would be pretty awesome, I admit it.

Unless he does 2 floors a volume . I read that 5 and 6 split into two due to the length or was that 4 and 5

@Mattinator95 As far as I know, only Volume 1 covered two floors, 1st and 2nd, I read till volume 4 (5th floor) and volume 5 was release at paperback (at least in English) only this month and sadly for me It was sold immediately, so now I have to wait to restock before being able to read it. And better not he dare to split it to two. Even though game world exploring in progressive is amazing. Well, no, Grimgar is amazing, Aincrad is pretty neat as well though.
