I watch Ling Qi S1 in Chinese, because the Japanese dub left out a lot of scenes from the Chinese dub, and I felt like the Chinese dub had a better flow.
Does anyone know a site I can watch this in Chinese dub?

Try youtube. I watch the Chinese dub there.

Anyway, did the Japanese dub really leave out a lot of scenes? Because I watched the first few episodes of the first season with the Japanese dub after watching the Chinese dub and I didn't find any difference.
I hate romance story coz I don't have romance in my life. Yea..I'm such a salty b*tch.

Thanks. I found the first episode in Chinese dub on Youtube as well.
And yeah for season 1 it did. Not huge scenes, but little scenes (especially after Domoku does his priest ceremony).
So far I didn't see a difference in Chinese and Japanese dub (most likely because both animes are 24min each, whereas the season 1 Chinese dub was around 13min for 20episodes)

I see. I guess I was lucky that I chose to watch the Chinese dub ^^
But I think for the second season, both Chinese and Japanese dub will be the same because they have the same duration each episode. I'll still watch the Chinese dub tho. Their voices fit more imo.

This channel has 4 episodes translated to English with Chinese dub. They have the most translated episodes so far.

I'm not sure why the youtuber linked above stopped doing the subs of the Chinese version. Another person who was working on the Chinese dub>sub said she's unhappy with the progression of the show so she's not doing the sub as often anymore.

I think I might drop this until I can watch it in Chinese, tbh. No offense to the Japanese dub group, but the name changes drive me nuts!

i prefer the Mandarin dub because it feels most natural it being made in china and i kinda like the way the language flows

Now I'm watching it without the subtitles ;-; Oh well... I know some Mandarin so I understand most of it, but I definitely lack in fantasy/historical vocabulary

It didn't leave out "a lot of scenes" the poster was being dramatic
