DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ok so let me get this straight By offering Luu Bu the position in imperial Han they stopped his attack on Cao Cao. As for Yuan Shu, Xun You told Yuan Shu that Pang Tong is for imperial Han and would not spare a "separatist" so Yuan Shu should not help Pang Tong in his attack on Cao Cao. Plus by giving Luu Bu a title from the Han, means the court has officially granted him a right as a legal vassal giving him casus belli to attack the "rogue" state. So two are out. As for Liu Bei, he won't attack Luu Bu now as imperial Han has recognised him and Liu Bei is loyal to Han. He might as well join Luu Bu in his attack on Yuan Shu |
| So essentially, Cao Cao and co are now free from being surrounded thanks to Xun Yu's clever plotting. Furthermore, he's creating a divide between the other important power players and Yuan Shu, slyly. These are some detailed schemes, but I think i'm understanding it more now. This is a good point to end my reading for today. |
