Appropriate for kids?

Hi! So, my two younger brothers (9 & 10) have started watching Tiger and Bunny and I was wondering if people think it's appropriate for them. I've seen the series and thought it was fine, but then recalled the wife-beating scene in episode 16 and began to ponder what other scenes may be too much for them.
Any help is appreciated!

It's not really intended for kids but it's no that bad compared some tv shows.
