Hey guys, this anime has a great score and I was wondering if there's a major issue in starting to watch it from this season. Will I be lost among the story or I won't miss much of the core of the anime?

Why in the name of holy father, would anyone wanted to start from the 6th season of any anime show ?

I was wondering if it's like those shows that have independent chapters or arcs, and you can board on the moving train. But if the comprehension of the current episodes rely on the other seasons, then I'd need to start from the beginning...

OP, when you read a novel, do you skip first 100-150 pages of that novel and then start reading ?

You can, but it's not worth it. Natsume Yuujincho often tells the story of the youkai whose name was trapped in the book of friends, but behind that it is also the story of Natsume and his relationship with other characters. I have not watched season 5 and 6 yet but season 1-4 are fantastic and anyone in their right mind would do themselves a disservice to skip those.

If you're really interested in the series, start from the first season.. or you can also do whatever you want and start from season 6 lol

Starting from season 6 is a really stupid idea. This anime truly IS episodic, but it still introduced many characters and relationships during previous seasons. Some things won't make sense to you and they won't feel as emotional. I fully recommend watching all seasons.

You should start from the first season. You won't regret it. The visual not really much changing thought
