Well from what I've read its pretty simple and comfy to go through. However the darker turn thing... Hmm. Might go through and see but from what I recall this is just cute and adorable. It's pretty short manga wise tbh since the pages aren't really that long each.

This show has a good balance of male and female characters, so I'll definitely be watching this.

As for Dame Prince, I will be watching it even if that show has only 1 female who's the MC, because that show has lots of interesting male characters that have personalities that are more fun to watch compared to most boring males from most Reverse Harems. The MC in Dame Prince would also seem to make lots of Tsukkomis based from the 15 second PV and mobile game, so I'll definitely be watching it.

I am someone that would like to watch a Harem Anime with 2 male leads that each gets their own harem company of girls from the main cast. For example, 1st male lead gets a company of 4 girls and 2nd male lead gets 2-3 girls etc.

Though this is just me, I highly doubt they would fuck this up.

Unpopular Opinion: They should just stick with Slice of Life since stuff like Shounen Maid / Yama no Susume fits them the best.

Any thoughts on it after first episode? I never thought they'd ruin my favorite Visual Novel, but they did that spectacularly.I don't mean to be mean to them though, I liked Yama no Susume and Tokyo Ravens. But everything since then (fairness, I skipped Shounen Maid) has been some of the worst anime I've ever seen. Really hoping this is good.

I've watched the episode and they pretty much did a good job with the first episode. It might not be impressive but as something adorable to pass the time, its good.

In terms of adaptions? It's good, mainly because the manga isn't that long and the chapters are rather short anyways. So I didn't had MUCH of an issue with this because its rather easy to do. Not only that you did had like an director that already knows their shit and knows how to do things, since Yuyushiki was pretty nice.

Overall artstyle might be a hit or miss but I guess they did their best to stay true to it, and it does look like the manga in terms of colors so. OP and ED though are just adorable, especially the ED since they have Chibis.

As I said, I think they work well as a studio that can MAINLY work with SoL Comedies or just pure Slice of Life, since that's their key point in all honesty.

If you have the chance to sometime, or have future interest then I'll suggest to give Shounen Maid at least one try. Since I think its a pretty good series and probably my hidden gem as well. It was fun and all if you ask me.

Thanks again for the reply! I just noticed you're the same person from the "In the Rain" thread lol. I'm not stalking you, I swear! I'll definitely throw Shounen Maid on my "To Watch" list. It always sounded interesting but the studio always has me wary.

Can I second this. Shounen Maid was surprisingly good and heartfelt. It's really cute too.
