| The original series can stand on its own, but a sequel was needed definitely, for the sake of Syaoran's development. I'm still hoping this entire sequel is based off the "thing he needed to do in Hong Kong." Maybe CLAMP thought about having a sequel and did that on purpose, waiting for the anniversary, and planned it this whole time if everyone was still interested...? honestly wouldn't put it past them lol |

If people like the anime they will rate it high...if the sequel is good and well made then there is no problem. Why don't you do like i do with the Fate series? I lost interest on the series and don't even watch anything from it anymore. Although i love the original VN and don't like the new animes, i don't see the point in going to the forums asking retarded stuff like this every new Fate anime. |

That's actually really unfortunate that people are already beginning to think this way. To me, it's far more canon than this new series.
